Part of a series done for my Senior Studio course. I take macro photos of an object in an attempt to make it appear as something else in every photo.

Nice shot, but I don't like the frame.
The picture is subtle, delicate and light.
But in my opinion the black frame is too strong, to visible, ruins the feeling of lightness.
Maybe a wider white frame, with delicate line on the edge of the photo would work better.

Agree that the frame would look nicer in white, but I don't care much for frames ;)

Thanks for opinions on the frames. In the large prints that I'm producing in real life these look better bordered by white. But online, on most sites white borders make this and some others from the series seem to get "lost" (IMO). To me, it's a matter of smaller viewing online vs. larger viewing in a gallery setting.

To each his own.
