The light is not working for me a few overexposed areas.

Hmm, I don't know ... it's pretty much a standard pic of a flower.

For someone who talks a lot of "art school smack" I'm kinda surprised at the cliched subject matter.

I wasn't even allowed to take pictures of flowers (or puppies, kittens or babies for that matter) for my first two years of photo classes.

Any thought-process behind this? I'm only asking this because I know you do / did attend art-school and it's not an atypical question for that environment, so I'm hoping you can handle it

beautiful flower. i think the brown thing on the left disturbs the beauty and leading role of the flower in the composition as a whole. i see a bit much contrast, and the light burst upon the leaves.
