I'm seeing plenty of details in the shadows here (all the lines and carvings on the stones, for instance) so I don't think that's an issue.
Couldn't hurt to see more to the left of the window at the edge and possibly even more of the foremost pew. The contrast of brightness/color and darker areas works here, but I also think a composition focusing on the rich colors cast by the window would also be great.
